The world rushes by too fast.  The only constant in our lives is everything is always changing, sometimes for better, sometimes not so much.  The cars we loved have become relics, pushed into automotive graveyards and replaced with great hulking telchnological marvels, the most mundane of which still outperforms the most loved objects of our youthful desire.

And yet…

Those old cars had soul, a visible spirit, a direct reflection of the genius and skill of the men who conceived and crafted them.  Ettore Bugatti, Augie Duesenberg, Sir William Lyons; the autos created by these men are still revered today, even more so than in the past. Has the old car hobby become a place only for the most well-heeled, a game for only the highest stakes players?

We think not…

There is still room for the average guy to indulge his fantasies, enjoying the fruits of the labor of automotive legends.  There’s a lot of life left in many of the older relics, passed over by investors, and left for those of us who truly loved these creations.  That’s what we seek here at Rocking Chair Motors.
